Note:
The ideal candidates will have a degree in physics, biophysics or related engineering fields, but candidates with degrees in cell biology or related subjects are welcome to apply. Funding is only available for UK or EU students

Scholarship Description: Applications for PhD positions in Biophotonics and Scanning Probe Microscopy are invited from well qualified (2(i) honours degree and above from the UK, or equivalent) students to undertake a studies in the Electronic Engineering and Physics Division at the University of Dundee. The three projects are all interdisciplinary and will combine the development of novel instrumentation with real world biological applications. The positions are available immediately, but candidates should, ideally, be able to start by 1st September.
